Code Of Conduct
Thursday, January 11, 2007 |  | In late 2006 the Motor Vehicle Insurance & Repair Industry Code Of Conduct was releasled in NSW.
The Code was established by the Government in the interests of Policy Holders and thier Vehicles, Insurance Companies & Motor Vehicle Repairers. To promote efficient operations & consumer confidence in the Insurance & Repair Industries in Australia and observe high standards of honesty, integrity and good faith with all parties.
The code is very comprehesive and covers issues such as: Repair Estimates, Vehicle Repairs, Authorisation Processes, Repair Warranties to Insurance Network Repairer
Schemes, Disclosure Obligations, Payment Terms & Repair Dispute Resolution Processes.
Ken Shafer Smash Repairs abides by the code and encourages other Motor Vehicle Repairers to do so, in the endevour to increase higher professional standards for the Repair Industry.
